Luna Helps Los Angeles Outscore Chicago
Los Angeles first baseman Andres Luna was instrumental in helping the Angels triumph, 14-10, over the Chicago White Sox. Luna hit 3 home runs, while scoring 4 and driving in 6. Los Angeles reliever Pete Fairbanks snagged the win, upping his record to 7-2. Jeff Rees shouldered the loss. The win puts the Angels at 67-72, while the White Sox drop to 81-58.

Luna had a key at-bat for Los Angeles in the top of the first. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 31st home run of the season and gave Los Angeles an early 2-0 lead.

Luna told a Los Angeles News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
