6-5 Loss Extends Cleveland Skid
|
Jordan Walker was a major factor in the 6-5 Baltimore win over Cleveland. The Orioles first baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Ernesto San Miguel, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 5 runs on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 9. His record now stands at 21-5. Cleveland's current losing streak is now 7 games.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Walker hit a 3-run home run off Miller Green. It propelled the Orioles into the lead, 5-2.
"Enjoyed this one," Walker told the Baltimore Citizen. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
