Cleveland pitcher Tim Trafton had a large part in his team beating the New York Yankees, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Cleveland has now won 3 in a row.

Terrell Malachi had a big 2-run double for the Guardians in the bottom of the third inning. With Cleveland leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from 33-year old right-handed pitcher Fernando Lozano and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Guardians ahead, 3-0.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Malachi.
