At Coors Field, the Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Chad Seifert, who is tied for 5th in the NL with a 1.13 WHIP, propelled his team to victory over the Colorado Rockies. The final score was 7-4, Pittsburgh. In 5 innings, Seifert surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 4. He allowed 3 runs. Picking up the save was Gabe D'Uva, his 5th.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 27-year old right fielder Luis Angulo. Angulo had a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Pirates ahead, 6-3. For the game, Angulo had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Angulo said.
