Cincinnati and Milwaukee duked it out and the Reds came out victorious.
Heliot Ramos was a vital contributor to the 6-4 Cincinnati victory over Milwaukee. The Reds center fielder belted 2 home runs. The winner in relief was Tommy Knox. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 3-2. David Bednar notched his 1st save of the season.
Ramos had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Ethan Small, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Reds a 5-4 lead. It was the 20th home run of the year for Ramos.
Cincinnati manager Ahron Cooney said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
The win has Cincinnati at 34-76.
