Cardinals Top Brewers, 5-2, Behind Hinojosa
|
St. Louis picked up a win at Busch Stadium, bumping off the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-2. Pitcher Mike Hinojosa was a major reason the Cardinals emerged victorious. The win for the Cardinals raised their record to 78-32.
Hinojosa delivered a quality start for St. Louis. The 6-foot-6 left-hander allowed no earned runs on 1 hit over 7 innings of work.
"Mike gave us a heck of an effort," said St. Louis manager Brandon Buchanan.
