Chris Anders was a vital contributor to the 11-7 Toronto victory over Minnesota. The Blue Jays catcher was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Toronto reliever Jösse Osterqvist picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Sandy Gaston was saddled with the loss. The third-place Blue Jays improved to 53-55.
