Dodgers Prevail, 4-2, Over Milwaukee
|
The Milwaukee Brewers went down to defeat to Brusdar Graterol and his Los Angeles teammates. The final score was 4-2, in favor of the Dodgers. Graterol yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 5-9. Gavin Stone wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.
Los Angeles used a clutch at-bat from Elijah Green to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I'm happy we won," said Graterol. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
The win elevated the Dodgers to 59-44.
