Lingar Deals Seattle 6-2 Setback
|
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of St. Louis fans at Busch Stadium.
Getting an impressive start from Mike Lingar, St. Louis beat Seattle by the score of 6-2. With the win, St. Louis pushed its record to 58-32.
The Mariners had trouble solving Lingar, who surrendered no runs on 3 hits over 6.2 innings.
"Mike showed what he's made of," said St. Louis manager Brandon Buchanan.
