The New York Mets got a superb performance from pitcher Matt Allan, but the Colorado Rockies still won the game, 5-4. Allan threw 5.2 innings allowing 1 run. Tyler Beck notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-1. Juan Mejia closed the door for Colorado, picking up his 13th save of the year.

Colorado used a timely hit from Dan Collins to get the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rockies ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Collins told the Colorado Chronicle.

New York has now lost 5 straight.
