The timely hitting of Aaron Bracho helped the Atlanta Braves down the Los Angeles Angels, 6-4. Bracho was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Braves. Atlanta reliever Matthew Thompson picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Yhonkervix Castillo was saddled with the loss. The last-place Angels have dropped 4 straight games.

Bracho had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch curveball from Yhonkervix Castillo, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Braves a 6-4 lead. It was the 18th home run of the year for Bracho.

"Solid performance from our side," said Braves manager Jeet Chakravorty.
