Orioles Suffer One-Run Loss at Los Angeles
|
Led by Triston Casas, the Los Angeles Dodgers downed the Baltimore Orioles, 4-3. Casas was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Dodgers. Los Angeles pitcher Tyler Glasnow got the win, upping his record to 4-3. Pablo Falconett got the loss. The third-place Dodgers hiked their record to 34-29.
With Los Angeles leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Casas hit a fastball from Pablo Falconett for a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Dodgers ahead, 4-0.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said Baltimore manager James Resume. "But we decided not to take it."
