The Colorado Rockies welcomed the Los Angeles Dodgers to an night game at Colorado Field.
The Colorado Rockies grabbed a win, 11-4, over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado Field. Colorado right fielder Seiya Suzuki went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Nate Savino picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-2 on the season. He struck out 9 and walked 3 in 5 innings, while yielding 4 runs.
Ryan Vilade was 1-4 with a triple and a walk against the Dodgers. In the bottom of the first inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, putting Colorado in front, 2-1.
"I like our moxie," said Rockies manager Justin Buzzotta.
The second-place Rockies go to 33-26.
