The Los Angeles Angels knocked off the Minnesota Twins, 5-0, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Sam Yelton was a big reason Los Angeles won. The right fielder was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The winning pitcher was Jack Flaherty. He's now 4-6. He went 6 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits for the Angels. The victory puts Los Angeles at 20-35.

With Los Angeles leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Yelton hit a slider from Chris McElvain for a 3-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Angels ahead, 5-0.
