Diamondbacks Advance to League Championship Series
The Division Series didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game.

But the Arizona Diamondbacks are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the Washington Nationals 3-1 to advance to the League Championship Series.

"It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Diamondbacks second baseman Ryan Mitchell. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire."

Arizona won the final game by a score of 17-6 at Nationals Park.

Mitchell was named series MVP after hitting .375 with a .375 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will play against the Chicago Cubs in the next round. Chicago won their series against the St. Louis Cardinals 3 games to 0. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 16th , 2032.
