Larrosa K's 11 En Route to 3-0 Dodgers Win
|
Starting pitcher Vicente Larrosa gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a rock-solid effort. The Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic native helped his team defeat the Los Angeles Angels, 3-0, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Gavin Stone closed it out for Los Angeles, earning his 13th save. The Dodgers lead the National League West Division by a game.
Larrosa scattered 3 hits over 6.2 innings for the Dodgers. With the win, Larrosa moves to 10-6 on the year with 150 strikeouts.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Larrosa said.
