Montgomery Sweeps into the Round 2
With a 6-2 win to wrap up the series at MGM Park, the Montgomery Biscuits have eliminated the Biloxi Shuckers in the Round 1 and move on to the Round 2.

Montgomery controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep.

Serafino Fafes led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .412 batting average, along with a .412 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 6 runs.

"We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish."

The Montgomery Biscuits don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Birmingham Barons - Chattanooga Lookouts series. Chattanooga leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
