Roc Riggio was a vital contributor to the 7-5 Colorado victory over Kansas City. The Rockies second baseman went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Jose Barcenas picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-1. He struck out 11 in 5.2 innings. The victory gives the Rockies a record of 26-18.

Colorado took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Riggio hit a 2-run home run. His 18th home run of the season made the score 6-4, Colorado.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Colorado manager Justin Buzzotta.
