Twins Beat Rockies, 5-1
|
The Minnesota Twins picked up a win at Target Field, dropping the Colorado Rockies, 5-1. Chris Paddack, who is tied for 5th in the AL in quality starts with 5, was the difference-maker. The loss makes Colorado 24-17.
Minnesota took a 5-1 lead on Misael Urbina's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Urbina hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Colorado pitcher Nate Savino visibly frustrated.
"I'm happy we won," said Paddack. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
