Phillies Collect 5-2 Win Over Red Sox
|
The 5-2 Philadelphia win over Boston was due in large part to Yemal Flores. The Phillies right fielder was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. With the win, the Phillies sit at 24-15.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With one out, Flores hit a fastball from Ben Joyce for a 3-run home run. The Phillies, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Flores.
