Kurland Hits 2 home runs in Nationals Win
The Washington Nationals dealt the Toronto Blue Jays a 6-4 loss at Rogers Centre. Cade Kurland, who is tied for 10th in the NL in doubles with 11, was the star on offense. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The triumph puts Washington at 19-19 for the season.

Washington grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Kurland hit a solo home run off Chris Shaw. His 6th home run of the season put the Nationals out in front, 4-3.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Kurland.
