Boston (FCL) Dazed, MacKay Gets No-Hitter
Houston (FCL) Astros Orange starter Devin MacKay came up big at FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches with an exceptional 1-0 win against the Boston (FCL) Red Sox. Not only did he whip them, but MacKay held them hitless, too.

"My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed MacKay. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens."

In the course of the no-hitter, MacKay collected 9 strikeouts and surrendered 1 walk -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books.

MacKay has posted a 5-2 record for the year with a 1.74 ERA. Teams are hitting .173 against him and he has rung up 51 strikeouts in 67.1 innings.
