Chillis Batters Houston (FCL) for 5 Hits
It was a sensational day at the plate for Ron Chillis as he led the charge to a nifty 17-7 win over the Astros Blue. The Houston (FCL) second baseman was pure misery for the Houston (FCL) pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.

"Chillis put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Bobby Crosby, manager for the Astros Blue, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

Ron Chillis singled in the 1st, walked in a run in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Nate Sundermeyer in the 4th, hit a three-run triple in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a sac fly in the 8th.

In his season totals, Chillis has 3 home runs, .352 BA, .434 OBP, 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has played in 17 games.
