Sotomayor Strokes 5 Hits Wednesday, May 4th , 2044 Tony Sotomayor was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Bowling Green Ballpark, the Quad Cities right fielder blistered the Bowling Green Hot Rods for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 6-3 victory. "Sotomayor was too tough to get out," Hot Rods skipper Austin Knight said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Tony Sotomayor hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th and singled in the 10th.
