GHOST Strokes 5 Hits Tuesday, July 10th , 2001 It was a sensational day at the plate for Josh GHOST as he led the charge to a 10-6 win over the Phoenix. The Highland Park center fielder was pure misery for the Nashville pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "GHOST put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said , manager for the Phoenix, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Josh GHOST singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. So far this year GHOST has hit .391 with 19 home runs, 67 RBIs and 65 runs scored. |
