Castellanos Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, August 4th , 2012 Nobody has been able to shut down Gilbert Sun Dogs right fielder Nick Castellanos in recent days. The Worcester Ivy fared no better than the rest. Today at Worcester Fields, Castellanos picked up 3 hits in 4 at-bats en route to a 9-2 Sun Dogs victory. It stretched his hitting string to 30 consecutive games. Nick Castellanos singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th and singled in the 7th. For the year Castellanos has hit .487 with 12 home runs, 66 RBIs and scored 46 runs. |
