Klondikes, Bale Stonewall Plano, 5-0 Monday, September 3rd , 2001 The Essex Junction Klondikes rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Plano Mounties at Mounties Ballpark today. Leading the way to victory was starter John Bale, who shackled the Plano Mounties and held them scoreless on a 8-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Bale said in his postgame press conference. Bale has taken the mound for 14 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 7-10 record with a 4.13 ERA. The Essex Junction reliever has limited opposing batters to a .271 batting average. |
