Bears Star Receives Pitcher of the Year Award

Daniel Mengden had a sensational 2018 season in the Sub League 2. The Quincy pitching machine has been proclaimed this year's Pitcher of the Year Award recipient.

This season Mengden starred with a 15-3 record. In 19 starts he gave up 160 base hits and struck out 176 in 155.1 innings with a 2.90 ERA.

He received 26 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Alec Asher of the Colorado Springs Devils finished second in voting, while Anthony DeSclafani of the Quincy Bears finished third.
