Bears Heading to Round 2 Monday, September 17th , 2018 The Quincy Bears made it look easy and are heading to the Round 2. They have ousted the Islandia Yellow Jackets in a sweep, the final win coming by a 9-0 score, clinching the 4-0 series win. "Everything's clicking for us right now," said JT Riddle, who was named MVP for the series. Riddle hit .524 with a .524 on-base percentage. He added 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Quincy Bears don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Miramar Jackrabbits - Tampa Crew series. Tampa leads the series 3 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
