Richmond Beats Denver 12-4, Godley Ks 16 Thursday, August 30th , 2018 Richmond Blue Hens starter Zack Godley brought his best stuff to Ballpark of Richmond against the Denver Eclipse, striking out 16 batters in his club's 12-4 victory. In a strong performance, the 28-year-old Godley gave up 7 hits in his 8.1 innings of work and issued 2 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my curveball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." So far this season, Godley has a 7-2 record, 9 starts, 74 innings, 110 strikeouts and a 3.41 ERA. |
