Marauders Torpedoed by Yamamoto in 2-0 Loss to Essex Junction Tuesday, August 7th , 2018 Essex Junction hurler Jordan Yamamoto put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Garland Marauders with a 2-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 12 strikeouts and 4 walks to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Garland manager told reporters after the game. So far this season, Yamamoto has a record of 4-2 with 67 strikeouts and 21 walks in 47.2 innings and a 4.53 ERA. |
