Goeddel Blisters Richmond Sunday, July 29th , 2018 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Tyler Goeddel. The right fielder for the Newport Cannonballers hit the milestone against the Richmond Blue Hens, helping his club to a narrow 5-4 victory. Goeddel finished with a 5-for-5 line at the plate. "Goeddel was a tough out," Richmond manager told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Tyler Goeddel singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Goeddel is hitting .330 this year with 6 home runs and 62 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .482, 75 walks and scored 58 times. |
