T-Bones Move on to Round 2 Monday, September 21st , 2020 After their 4-1 win today at Ballpark of Wichita over the Melbourne Beach Redskins, the Wichita T-Bones will advance to the Round 2. Wichita won the series by a 4-1 margin. Leading the way for the T-Bones was left fielder Wyatt Mathisen, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Wichita T-Bones will play against the Chula Vista Jays in the next round. Chula Vista won their series against the Scottsdale Fire Fighters 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
