Classics Shut Out Pilots, GHOST Winner Wednesday, August 22nd , 2001 Joel GHOST of the Gaston Classics shut down the Weston Pilots 6-0 on a 7-hitter, holding them scoreless while ringing up 8 strikeouts and allowing no walks. After the game GHOST said, "Guys have been fouling off a lot of pitches lately and I've been getting into too many deep pitch counts, but I'm pleased with the way things went today. I went right after them and stayed ahead in the count." This year GHOST has a 1-4 record and a 7.71 ERA. |
