Shreveport's Camargo Wins SL2 Most Valuable Player Award Sunday, October 22nd , 2017
The manager of the Shreveport Rangers said he thinks Johan Camargo is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 23, but it will be hard to top the third baseman's 2017 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .386 batting average and a .443 on-base percentage this year. In 116 games he piled up 169 hits, 58 doubles, 2 triples, 15 home runs, 77 RBIs and 56 runs scored.
