Sunday, October 22nd , 2017
The future looks extremely bright for Tim Anderson. At the age of 24, many players are still trying to find their way in MLB Triple A.
Anderson has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Sub League 1 Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .427 this year, that's for sure," the shortstop said.
The Marion Colt 45s star also put up a .449 on-base percentage this year, with 216 hits, 49 doubles, 6 triples, 19 home runs, 95 RBIs and 109 runs scored.
He received 26 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Albert Almora Jr. of the Buffalo Spurs finished second in voting, while Adam Engel of the Lubbock Athletics finished third.
