Red-Hot Phillips Scorches Olympians Wednesday, June 26th , 2019 No matter what the Riverside Olympians threw him, Brandon Phillips hit it. The 37-year-old Modesto Loggerheads second baseman racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Olympians Ballpark and led the Loggerheads to a win, 16-6. Brandon Phillips hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. In 62 games this year, Phillips has posted a .375 average and put up these numbers: 5 home runs, 43 RBIs and 39 runs scored. |
