Phoenix's Rasmus Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Friday, April 12th , 2019 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Phoenix's 15-3 win over Omaha, right fielder Colby Rasmus was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Omaha Grounds. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Rasmus said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Colby Rasmus walked in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. |
