Raleigh Clinches Postseason Appearance Thursday, September 6th , 2018 Raleigh Shorebirds fans had reason to rejoice tonight, as the team is heading to the MLB Triple A playoffs. With a record of 82-45, Raleigh is guaranteed a spot in the postseason, although it remains to be officially decided whether or not that's as Sub League 1 East Division champions or in a wild card position. "We have fantastic fans and it feels good to give them something to cheer about," said first baseman Nathaniel Lowe. "Hopefully there's a lot more celebrating to come." |
