Whitecaps Buried - Out of Playoffs Monday, August 12th , 2058 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the West Michigan Whitecaps this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. West Michigan last appeared in the postseason in 2056. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 36-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Whitecaps have made the playoffs 6 times. West Michigan last won the Round 2 in 2044. |
