Pensacola's Hansen Gets TXSL Player of the Week Monday, May 31st , 2055 Pensacola Blue Wahoos first baseman Jeromy Hansen had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the TX/SL named him Player of the Week. Hansen banged out 10 hits in 26 at-bats on the way to a .385 batting average. He also racked up 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season, Hansen is batting .293 with 54 hits, 12 home runs, 28 RBIs, 12 walks, .343 OBP and has scored 27 runs. He has played in 44 games. |
