Jackson Gone for Season in Richmond
Friday, August 22nd , 2059
Jalen Jackson will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Richmond starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Jackson was injured while throwing a pitch in the Flying Squirrels-SeaWolves clash at The Diamond recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 9 months.
This year, Jackson has a 5-10 record with a 5.26 ERA in 24 starts.
