St. Louis Out of Playoff Race Sunday, September 15th , 2058 Fans of the St. Louis Cardinals who thought the club was playoff-bound may have been a little too optimistic this year. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. St. Louis last appeared in the postseason in 2053. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 146 times in their 184-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cardinals have only made the playoffs once. St. Louis has won the World Series 14 times in their history. |
