Carolina-St. Louis Trade: Marsh for Street Monday, August 2nd , 2060 It's being reported in the Carolina press that the Stingrays have traded 23-year old SS Mike Marsh, 21-year old minor league 2B Pat Skupien, and $2,000,000 in cash to the St. Louis Cardinals for 29-year old RF Vince Street. However, there is no confirmation by the two ball clubs. For the season, Marsh is batting .242 with 38 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 18 times and batted in 13. Street has collected 133 hits for the Stingrays this year, 10 of them home runs. He has also netted 64 RBIs and scored 70 runs while batting .302. |
