Red Sox Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, September 27th , 2055 The battle by the Boston Red Sox to claim a playoff position is now over. Despite the team's best efforts, they were mathematically eliminated from the postseason today. Boston last appeared in the postseason in 2045. This is their 10th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 147 times in their 174-year history. Boston last won the World Series in 2018. |
