Twins Win American League Central Division Crown Friday, September 26th , 2059 The Minnesota Twins are champions of the American League Central Division, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the World Series," said starting pitcher Jim Scott. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Minnesota." The club's record currently sits at 84-69. It is the team's 22nd division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 5th Major League Baseball championship. Team manager Jared Twins GM said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
