Evansville Tops Quebec Saturday, September 11th , 2060 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Evansville Otters, that meant the Frontier League Frontier League Championship trophy. The Otters took a 8-4 victory over the Quebec Capitales at Le Stade Municipal, winning their 3rd championship after taking the series 4-2. "We've got grit," said Otters third baseman Ben Sanders, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to." The new titleholders completed the regular season with a third-place finish in the Frontier League Midwestern Division and a 62-34 record. View Boxscore |
