Blue Wahoos Pick Up 4-0 Win

The Biloxi Shuckers went down to defeat to Eric Laird and his Pensacola teammates. The final score was 4-0, in favor of the Blue Wahoos. Josh Sudano earned the save for Pensacola, his 11th. Pensacola has a record of 27-39, placing them 8th in the TX/SL Southern League.
The Shuckers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Blue Wahoos going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old center fielder Mike Nelson came to the plate. Nelson hit a solo home run on a 3-1 fastball from Biloxi hurler Mike Warnick. It was Nelson's 4th home run of the year.
