The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp knocked off the Frisco RoughRiders, 7-1, at Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Sami Biruk hit 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. The win was credited to Josh Headley in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Alexis de la Pena took the loss. The first-place Jumbo Shrimp have won 4 in a row.

Tony Almazan had a big 2-run double for the Jumbo Shrimp in the bottom of the second inning. With Jacksonville leading 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 21-year old left-handed pitcher Alexis de la Pena and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jumbo Shrimp ahead, 4-1.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Biruk told the Jacksonville Today.
