Lookouts Suffer 4-2 Setback
Montgomery turned a good performance from starting pitcher Joe Penner into a 4-2 triumph over the Chattanooga Lookouts at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Penner, the winner, moves to 4-2. He threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 3 walks. Andy Martelle notched his 4th save of the season.

Vince Cari, who is rated as the 89th best prospect by BNN, took Chattanooga hurler Gabe Alba deep in the bottom of the seventh. His solo home run put the Biscuits on top, 3-2. In all, Cari had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I was able to miss barrels for the most part and the guys behind me made plays," said Penner.

The second-place Biscuits have a record of 28-18.
